Protothon

At Protothon 2025, a global UX design hackathon hosted by DubsTech and Design Buddies, we competed against 250+ participants across four challenge tracks. In just 28 hours, our team took home first place in the Food Track with our project, FairFeast.

FairFeast tackles the disconnect between food waste and food insecurity in South Africa by connecting surplus food from businesses to communities in need. The hackathon pushed us to think fast, design smart, and deliver a real-world solution with measurable impact.
